About Us

Welcome to Texana Ranch Quarter Horses! We breed and raise foundation quarter horses in Chillicothe, TX.

Our goal is to produce top notch performance horses with plenty of substance and great minds. We have been raising quality quarter horses in northwest Texas for over 20 years. Some bloodlines of the horses we raise are Driftwood, Joe Hancock, Red Man, Old Sorrel, Cutter Bill, Freckles Playboy, Sugar Bars, and Peponita. Many of the horses we raise go back four or five generations back to other horses that we have owned so we can stand by what we put on the ground.

Each of our foals is raised turned out with limited handling until weaning. We believe that it gives the foal the opportunity to learn as much as he or she can to be able to survive in a pasture setting as well as learn how to cover all types of ground and terrain.

We are currently awating our 2021 foal crop and are looking forward to the addition of Last Canal (Guatemala Canal x Alice Bluegown) to our stallion lineup for 2021.
