2019 Foals

All of Texana Ranch’s 2019 foals will sell halter broken at the time of weaning or right after. All of them will have their paperwork done. We also have started branding our foals and it will be on the left hip. All foals will also sell with vaccinations. All foals that sell before weaning have a 20% deposit and the other 80% due is before the time the foal leaves the ranch.

Texana Zach Dude (name pending) “zach”

This colt has been turning heads since the moment that he hit the ground. He’s got an amazing personality and loves running around. His dam, who we call legs, really stamps her foals. They have all looked very similar. His sire belongs to a friend of ours and we’ve ridden sisters of his and have enjoyed them. He adds speed and shape to his foals.

Texana Modern drift

This palomino filly is the model of what we are trying to produce; pretty head, balance, strong hip, good boned, and a great mind. She is by tweety and out of a mare that we call miss kitty. We owned miss kitty’s dam and grand dam and have been riding horses with this bottom side for 20 years. If you are looking for a 15 hh knockout driftwood hancock filly, here she is.

Texana Cherrywood

I can’t brag enough on the fillies that Tweety put on the ground for us this year. This girl oozes athleticism and is personality plus. She’s a stout filly and will mature to at least 15 hh. She is that silver colored red roan that people go crazy over.

Claytons Texana Girl (name pending)

We purchased this filly’s dam in foal to Claytons Leo Blue who was a nice son of Romeo Blue who was out of a daughter of Leo Gap. This filly is the same color as her sire- red dun roan. She is a classy looking filly and we’ve been really impressed with her. Her sire is retired from breeding.

Many times our eyes go straight to color but you shouldn’t over look this guy. This classy bay roan stud colt is going to be a rock solid horse in whatever direction you take him in. He’ll have plenty of bone and balance for anything and breeding to boot. He is by tweety and out of an austinwood x linh wood mare. This guy has major performance potential.
